Bilberry Fruit - (See Fruit Acids.)

Biotin - Also known as vitamin H, biotin is part of the B vitamin group. It is an important factor in the growth of tissue and the proper functioning of the oil glands. A biotin deficiency can lead to dry skin, seborrheic dermatitis and the formation of dandruff and crusts in the scalp. Biotin is vital for the maintenance of a normal fat metabolism, and is essential for healthy skin and scalp.

Black Currant Extract - (See Fruit Acids.)

Bladderwrack - An algae high in iodine, often used in massage lotions, creams and foaming bath oils. A skin tonic and nutrient.

Blue Green Algae - Made up of over 50% utilizable protein, blue green algae is an excellent food source, used for thousands of years for its mild taste and easily assimilated nutrients. A good source of enzymes, minerals, trace minerals and antioxidants, its amino acid profile is virtually identical to that of humans, which makes it more readily absorbed by the skin.

Borage Oil - Nutrient-dense oil high in rare gamma-linolenic acid, also found in human breast milk. Combined with Rosa Mosqueta® oil and alfalfa extract, it makes an excellent ingredient for dry or mature skin.

Burdock - A freshener and soothing agent. Its essential oil smooths and revitalizes the hair and promotes a healthy scalp. An excellent ingredient in conditioners, anti-frizz hair care products and styling aids for coarse, curly, hard-to-handle hair.
